Qualifications forHomemaker/Home Health Aide (HHA) /Personal Care Aide:
- Minimum one year work experience (does not need to be in health care)
Job Responsibilities forHome Health Aide (HHA)/Homemaker/ Personal Care Aide:
- Activities of daily living
- Range of motion / exercises
- Transfers / use of mechanical lifting devices
- Vital sign checks: temperature, pulse, respiration
- Home Management Tasks: laundry, meal preparation, bed making etc.
- Assisting with ambulation
- Medication assistance
- Huygens
