Home Health Aide

Duties:

Rewarding and exciting job caring for the elderly in their homes. We offer the best pay in Home Healthcare services. Current opportunities available in Krum, Denton, and surrounding areas. Start immediately. Will engage in activities of daily living and light housekeeping. Must be punctual and have reliable transportation. Should love working with seniors. No experience needed. Just the passion and ability to relate well with clients and report activities daily.

Up to 36 hours/week. More hours available if needed.

Duties:
- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Administer medication according to prescribed schedules and document administration accurately
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as temperature, blood pressure, and pulse
- Assist with feeding and ensure proper nutrition and hydration for patients
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients
- Assist with mobility and transfers, using proper body mechanics to prevent injury
- Follow care plans and communicate any changes in patient condition to the supervising nurse
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients

- Ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent communication skills and ability to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
