We are currently looking for a qualified employee to join our Home Health Team as a Home Health Administrative Coordinator. In this role, you would assist the department with various tasks and procedures in support of the Administrator and Clinical Manager.
As the Home Health Administrative Coordinator, you will be expected to provide the following essential functions:
- Participates in Home Health Aide visits as needed by department while attending in service as required by state and federal regulations.
- Performing clinical record audits on a monthly and quarterly basis, while also cross checking and maintaining accurate electronic verification records with Home Health documentation.
- Acts as back up to Home Health service coordinator and administrative authorization and billing specialist.
- Monitors Home Health aide visits with field observations, tracks Home Health aide monthly training via Relias, and stays up to date with CMS Medicare and Medicaid policies and regulations.
- Maintains and oversees files for state regulations and verifies missed visit notifications, 485's, and other clinical documents and orders. Including following up with physician signature request.
For this role, we are searching for a candidate with the following qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Organizational, computer, multi-tasking, and data entry skills a must.
- Valid driver's license, good driving record, and current insurance on a reliable, privately owned vehicle.
- Emotional and mental maturity necessary for establishing and maintaining a good relationship with our patients, their families, and the other agency personnel.
- Previous Health Care experience preferred, but not required.
