This role is responsible for developing strong relationships with referral sources to generate client referrals for Home Care services. This is an outside sales position that requires daily communication, including face-to-face and digital methods, with referral sources. The Sales and Client Relations Professional must develop and execute sales plans that generate high-value clients and long term revenue. The ideal candidate for this position has a proven track record of generating new business in the Home Care industry or in the healthcare or senior care industry and has established relationships that can start generating new business immediately.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a sales plan to meet business development goals.
  • Establish and maintain professional relationships with referral sources, including hospital case managers, assisted living facilities, skilled nursing/rehab facilities, home health agencies, hospices, physicians' offices, fiduciaries, etc.
  • Complete daily face-to-face sales calls with referral sources for the purpose of generating business leads.
  • Articulate and sell the services and benefits of using SYNERGY HomeCare services in the community to referral sources and Clients.
  • Plan and organize community marketing events to enhance our visibility in the community and generate new relationships and business opportunities.
  • Attend networking and in-service events to present SYNERGY HomeCare services.
  • Build and nurture strong, long-lasting relationships with prospective and current clients and their families.
  • Conduct client needs assessments to understand specific requirements and preferences.
  • Regularly communicate with current clients to ensure satisfaction, gather feedback and maximize service hours.
  • Maintain the CRM database for all sales calls, prepare reports and summaries for review.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • A base salary will be offered to the successful candidate. Upon achievement of revenue and sustainability goals, additional compensation and/or bonuses will be discussed.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Proven track record in a B2B sales role.
  • Cold calling.
  • Motivated, self-manager with strong team orientation.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and consultative communication skills with the ability to influence, coach and motivate others.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and time management skills.
  • Strong interpersonal & presentation skills.
  • Strong computer skills and knowledge of CRM processes.
  • Customer relationship building skills and aptitude.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Knowledgeable and experienced in the healthcare and senior care industries, with contacts and relationships that can be leveraged for business development preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in business and/or healthcare-related field is preferred.

  • A passion for senior care and Client service.
  • Ability to establish rapport and build trust both within the SYNERGY HomeCare team as well as with referral sources and prospective clients.
  • Personal accountability for meeting sales goals.
  • A desire to take a leadership role in growing the business.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to thrive with minimal direct supervision.
  • This position will have immediate sales goals to achieve within a defined time period. We are serious about short and midterm growth, and Client sustainability.
  • The successful candidate for this position is highly driven with a proven track record in sales, anyone without these qualifications will not be considered for this role.
