Home Care Pediatric Registered Nurse (Rn)

Marquis Certified Home Care is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pediatric Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Home Care team. As a Home Care Pediatric RN, you will be responsible for providing high-quality, personalized care to pediatric patients in the comfort of their homes. Responsibilities:

1. Conduct comprehensive assessments of pediatric patients to develop individualized care plans.
2. Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed by the physician.
3. Monitor and assess the patient's condition, noting any changes and collaborating with the healthcare team to adjust the care plan accordingly.
4. Educate and support patients and their families on managing illnesses, medications, and post-treatment care.
5. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
6. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, therapists, and social workers, to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
7. Provide emotional support and guidance to patients and their families, fostering a positive and nurturing environment.

Qualifications:

1. Current and valid RN license in the state of New York.
2. Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Pediatric RN.
3. BLS and PALS certifications required.
4. Experience in Home Care or pediatric nursing preferred.
5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
7. Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
