SalaryResponsibilities: - Perform histology procedures including tissue processing, embedding, sectioning, staining, and mounting - Prepare and maintain laboratory equipment and supplies - Ensure proper labeling, storage, and disposal of specimens - Maintain accurate records of all tests performed - Assist pathologists and other laboratory personnel in the interpretation of test results - Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area Experience: - Previous experience working in a research laboratory or clinical laboratory setting - Knowledge of specimen collection and processing techniques - Familiarity with medical terminology and anatomy - Proficient in laboratory procedures and techniques - Ability to phlebotomize and perform vital signs when necessary - Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately document test results - Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment Please note that this job description is not exhaustive and additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
