Staybridge Suites Manteca is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented hospitality expert to join our team as Director of Sales. As the Director of Sales, you will spearhead our commercial efforts and propel our brand to the forefront of Manteca’s extended stay market. This role will oversee the day-to-day operations of the hotel sales division including direct sales efforts follow-up, oversight of professional sales staff, and proper sales administration and training, along with additional sales and marketing efforts shaped by your experience. We value self-motivation, organization, and goal orientation. If you possess a proven track record in outside sales, client relationship building, and expertise in lead generation and tracking software, we want to hear from you.
Job Responsibilities:
· Responding to group, account, and meeting space inquiries
· Completing sales calls and hosting site tours to introduce hotels to new potential clients
· Researching your market and targeting companies to pursue
· Working with revenue manager to identify opportunities for success
· Making your presence known in your markets by attending local events, meetings, etc.
Job Requirements:
- 2+ years of proven success in driving sales and exceeding revenue targets within the hospitality industry, preferably in the extended stay segment.
- Adept at crafting and implementing dynamic sales strategies that cater to the specific needs of corporate clientele and long-term guests.
- Exceptional relationship-building skills, forging strategic partnerships, and cultivating enduring connections with travel agents, corporate accounts, and local businesses.
- Data-driven decision maker, leveraging market trends and guest insights to optimize pricing, promotions, and channel distribution.
- Motivational leader who fosters a high-performing and collaborative sales team, exceeding individual and collective goals.
- Excellent communicator and negotiator, confidently presenting proposals and securing deals that benefit both guests and the hotel.
