Information Providers, Inc. (IPI) is looking for self-starting, self-motivated and self-directed independent contractors (1099) to work in an area of their choosing, around the area in which they live. We can provide a supplement to your current income or become your main source of income.

This Position:

As an Insurance Inspector you’ll be on-site conducting insurance underwriting inspections collecting data for a condition assessment, measurement dimensions of the property. Including but not limited to photographs, all sides of the home, roof photos and exterior amenities, hazards, conditions and identifying building materials of the risk. Upon completion all information collected will be uploaded into an internet-based platform.

What’s needed and required:

1. Self-starter who enjoys independence!
2. Willingness to work outdoors in all season’s Reliable vehicle for going to and from inspections.
3. Windows Based Computer with Internet access
4. Measuring wheel and a phone to take photos.

Our IC’s are paid on a fee based inspection. The type of inspection dictates the fee given for each report.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $28.32 - $32.58 per hour

• Choose your own hours
• Monday to Friday

Application Question(s):

• Do you have experience using Rapid Sketch or other CAD programs?
• This position requires climbing a ladder and accessing one story home roof's. Do you have a problem with climbing a ladder and getting on roof's?
• Do you have 6 months or more of Residential or Commercial Insurance Underwriting inspection experience?
• Do you have a dependable vehicle?

Work Location: On the road
