Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist - Anesthesia

Job Description:

• Under limited supervision, performs clinical CRNA duties under the direction and supervision of the department medical director, anesthesiologists, surgeons, and other attending physicians.
• CRNA’s will maintain professional credentials, clinical knowledge and skills, and physical status capable of delivering safe and effective anesthesia care to all patients treated by the facility.
• The quality of anesthesia will be no less than that considered to be the standard of care by the ASA and AANA.
• Adheres to the principles of Service Excellence Guiding Behaviors and the philosophy and mission of the facility in all aspects of job performance.
• Hospital-based
• Reason for coverage: staffing changes
• CRNA will be working with limited supervision

• Average # of surgical cases per day: approximately 15+ out of the department (endo, cath lab, radiology, etc)
• Trauma level 2
• OR staffed 24/7 with RN and CST
• 11 operating rooms
• Adult demographic
• Cardiothoracic experience is preferred, but will train (including PICC lines)
• Open to experienced or new grads - willing to train
• EMR: Cerner

Compensation and Benefits:

• Base salary based on experience: 0-2 years $198,000; 2-4 years $205,000; 4+ years $228,800

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• Board Certified in Anesthesiology - REQUIRED
• Active IA License -REQUIRED
• Cardiac experience - REQUIRED
• Note experience with the following procedures: General Surgical Cases - adult, General Surgical Cases - pediatric, Minor Nerve Blocks, IV Regional anesthesia, Plexus anesthesia, Spinal Anesthesia, Regional Anesthesia, Neurosurgical Cases, Local Infiltration, PICC Lines - REQUIRED
