Qualifications
- The minimum of a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university.
- A valid Kansas Teacher's Certificate (applicable level-area endorsements preferred).
- Professional verification of successful classroom teacher performance and/or student teaching experience.
- Evidence of the willingness and the ability to comply with the standards for ethical and professional performance established by the State Board of Education.
Performance Responsibilities
- Develop and implement Weight Lifting programs to meet the needs of students at various fitness levels
- Instruct and guide students on proper Weight Lifting techniques and safety precautions
- Create engaging and challenging workouts that promote strength, endurance, and overall fitness
- Monitor and assess students' progress, providing constructive feedback and guidance
- Collaborate with other physical education teachers to integrate Weight Lifting into the overall curriculum
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience and expertise in Weight Lifting techniques and training methods
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and exercise science
- Ability to effectively communicate and demonstrate Weight Lifting techniques to students
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
