Job Description
The Digital Arts/Coding teacher will design and teach the curriculum to 9-12 grade students. The class instruction will include Digital Arts and multimedia, graphic design, coding language, problem solving, and computer knowledge.
Qualifications:
? Bachelor's degree or higher.
? Tennessee teaching license in the assigned teaching field.
? Experience with at least one coding language: HTML, C++, Python, PHP or similar.
? Excellent facilitator with the ability to motivate, direct, and train people and collaborate and interact with other effectively and productively.
Must have strong technology skills.
? Must have excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
? Be able to effectively manage the classroom by implementing discipline, time management, and organization consistent with school policy.
This is a 200 day/year term.
