CRUCIAL REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS ROLE:

  • Bilingual (Spanish / English)

  • This role takes up to 120 days from start-date to reach full-time employment. We are seeking a Developmental Therapist who has over five years of experience working in a child's home environment as an EI therapist funded by a regional center. This is not an ABA role but a DI role; we seek DI therapists. Therapists must have experience working with infants and toddlers, including comprehensive Developmental Evaluation Experience. We will require copies of previous evaluations written in a HIPAA-compliant way.

This role is perfect for an experienced EARLY INTERVENTION INFANT DEVELOPMENT SPECIALIST WITH STRONG REGIONAL CENTER BACKGROUND.

Transparent Compensation:

  • NON-LICENSED CHILD DEVELOPMENT SPECIALISTS Compensation for candidates who are not licensed therapists is between $24 to $28 per billable treatment hour max plus $18 per hour for drive-time, documentation time, and admin time, with global equivalency to not exceed $38 per global treatment hour equivalency. You can get a $10 bonus per billable hour when you complete 50 billable hours in a 2-week pay period. If you average 30 billable hours per week for 50 weeks, the role compensation can earn up to $72,000 plus benefits, PTO, 401k, etc.
  • LICENSED MARRIAGE AND FAMILY THERAPISTSCompensation for candidates who are licensed as MFTs can be $29 to $40 per billable treatment hour plus $18 per hour for drive-time, documentation time, and admin time, with global equivalency to not exceed $50 per global treatment hour equivalency. You can get a $10 bonus per billable hour when you complete 50 billable hours in a 2-week pay period. If you average 30 billable hours per week for 50 weeks, the role compensation can earn up to $90,000 plus benefits, PTO, 401k, etc.

Additional Information:

  • Please read the job post-experience thoroughly and understand we are seeking therapists that have experience working as a therapist inclusive of utilizing developmental assessment tools in a regional center system such as the HELP, DAYC-2, Ages & Stages, Etc. (This is not an ABA role but an EI Developmental Therapist Role).
  • YOU MUST HAVE STRONG EXPERIENCE WORKING WITH BABIES, INFANTS, AND CHILDREN UNDERTHE AGE OF 3 FROM A DEVELOPMENTAL THERAPY STANDPOINT.
  • We are looking for experienced Early Interventionists who have a strong developmental infant development background and love working with children from birth to three years of age in the home-setting/natural environment.
  • This is a part-time role to start while we build your caseload but can grow to a full-time caseload over time. It will take up to 120 days to build the initial schedule, and we are hiring for growth, so we will be growing a caseload.
  • We are seeking candidates with availability from Monday through Friday with flexible schedules during daytime hours. Please be advised that all clinicians are expected to cover all cities and zip codes listed in this job post.   • We are looking for excellent communicators and hold a standard of 24 hours or less response time from an email being sent out.

Please review the qualifications that are required for this position. All candidates must have the following:

  • Languages: We are seeking clinicians who are fluent in Spanish and English. We have a significant need for clinicians who are at least conversational in Spanish.
  • Associates Degree, Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or Relevant Child Development Field
  • Must have prior experience as a developmental therapist with an emphasis on birth to three population
  • Passion for empowering parents to support their children with developmental delays
  • Developmental Assessment Experience (Utilizing one of the following tools: DAYC-2, HAWAII/HELP, etc.)
  • Clinical Documentation Experience (Writing Samples are required)
  • Experienced infant development clinician who is reliable with world-class communication skills (written and verbal communication)
  • Must be able to make an 18-month commitment due to continuity of care requirements
  • Must reside near the location of the job post and have reliable transportation (Car, etc.)
  • Must be able to accept a minimum of 20 treatment visits assigned per week. Must have availability during the week, during the mornings and afternoons. Each treatment session is 1 hour per week.

  • Observation Interview (After the in-person interview process, you may be invited to participate in an observation interview where you go out with a clinician for 1 to 2 treatment visits. During this process, we evaluate how you engage during the treatment sessions and professionalism and utilize our clinical team to give direct clinical feedback on the candidate, etc.)
