Position Overview:
As a Hemp Production Technician at clēēn:tech, you are a vital member of our production team, dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of product quality and safety. Your role involves direct engagement with technical tasks, proficient operation of complex equipment, and stringent adherence to established protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process Mastery: Masterfully operate an array of processing machinery, including but not limited to Roto-Evaporators, falling film and wiped film distillation units, reactors, pumps, scales, and sophisticated analytical instruments.
• Collaborative Expertise: Collaboratively contribute under leadership directives, working in concert with colleagues to fulfill the operational objectives of each day.
• Strategic Communication: Maintain dynamic communication with management to ensure the expedited and accurate fulfillment of a range of tasks and project milestones.
• Safety Compliance: Vigilantly perform responsibilities pertaining to the secure storage and management of hazardous substances.
• Analytical Proficiency: Acquire and apply knowledge for the effective use of in-house HPLC analytical instrumentation.
• Data Stewardship: Diligently manage and execute tasks within the purview of our data tracking infrastructure.
• Laboratory Stewardship: Oversee the regular organization and sanitation of the laboratory space and its apparatus.
• Professional Development: Engage in extensive training designed to enhance familiarity with standard operational procedures and equipment.

Candidate Profile:

• Age Requirement: Must be at least 21 years of age due to state and federal regulatory requirements.
• Background Clearance: Must successfully clear a comprehensive background check.
• Educational Attainment: Possession of a High School Diploma or a GED equivalent is essential.
• Technical Aptitude: Experience in mechanical fields (e.g., plumbing, electrical work, HVAC) is advantageous.
• Technological Literacy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, MS Teams, Excel, Word, etc.) is expected.
• Physical Resilience: Must be capable of standing for prolonged periods and lifting weight up to 50 lbs.
• Industry Experience: Prior experience in hemp processing is highly desirable.
• Confidentiality: Must exercise discretion in safeguarding sensitive information.
• Flexibility: Must be available to work on weekends.
• Mathematical and Scientific Acumen: Basic knowledge of math and chemistry is required.
• Safety Protocol Adherence: Must be able to operate while donning a full or half-face respirator.
• Timeliness: Should exhibit punctuality and the ability to meet stringent deadlines.
• Safety Culture Participation: Should demonstrate enthusiasm towards a safety-oriented work environment and actively engage in safety briefings.
• Instructional Compliance: Should possess the ability to accurately follow and understand technical instructions and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Compensation: Starting at $20.00 per hour

Work Hours: Minimum 40 hours per week
