Marathon TS is seeking a motived integration minded assembly technician capable of performing mechanical and electrical assembly with the use of standard hand tools under direct supervision in a standalone and team environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assembly of mechanical and electrical items.
- Work from layout drawings, work instructions and schematics to assemble a variety of electro-mechanical parts.
- Installation of typical computer items into various chassis and equipment designs, including, but not limited to network switches, connectors and cabling, power supplies and computer servers.
- Packing and unpacking of equipment for receipt and shipping.
- Completion of check lists and assembly documentation.
- Experience with electro-mechanical assembly in computer or related electronic systems.
- Ability to utilize hand tooling.
- Ability to stand or sit for extended periods during work shifts.
- Ability to perform repetitive taskings with minimal direct supervision.
- Possess the ability to multi-task and prioritize efforts in a fast paced environment.
- Ability and desire to learn and participate and multiple assembly environments.
- Possess the ability to work independently or within a group to meet fast paced deadlines.
- The ability to read and interpret assembly drawings and work instructions.
- Able to perform repetitive motions including, but not limited to standing, kneeling, bending, and overhead lifting.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds.
- Experience integrating computer equipment racks and computer systems including dressing cabling.
- Experience with cabling and wire routing.
- Experience with managing ISO 9001 process and procedures.
- General computer component familiarity.
