A non-profit organization located in White Plains, NY is looking for a Help Desk Support Technician to work on a hybrid basis the work will be in the headquarter location with some travel to other areas within Westchester County.
Pay rate: $23.00/hr
This is a contract to hire role, you will begin as a consultant and be transitioned to a fulltime employee. Upon conversion the following benefits will be available to you:

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Serve as primary Help Desk contact and successfully respond to and close tickets in a timely fashion.
- Installation, operation, maintenance and support of Information Systems and voice and data communication.
- Troubleshooting and resolving equipment and communications malfunctions; performing routine operations including periodic report generation and system backup
- Assisting in problem resolution of infrastructure issues with the Network Administrator and/or the IS department.
- Must possess a Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or equivalent Associate degree and have relevant computer training or A+ certification and at least 1 year of computer hardware and software maintenance/support experience.
- Experience working with computer hardware, printers and basic network equipment.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Must have reliable transportation and be able to travel at all sites in Westchester County; ability to work in a team environment and provide excellent user support to all staff; ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing is required.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
