JOB SUMMARY:
The Attorney General's Office is seeking candidates to fill a vacant position for a Client Support Technician. The position is responsible for supporting users of technology through setup and troubleshooting of desktops, PCs, Laptops, scanners, and other peripheral equipment. In addition, roles in the family are accountable for service management.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
· Monitor the AG Help Desk. Escalate support tickets to senior staff.
· Provide support to Agency end-users, managing user accounts, desktop security, email support, and hardware support.
· Troubleshoots routine problems and coordinates the resolution of more complex issues with senior technical staff.
· Provide assistance with inventory tracking.
· Manage timelines and meet IT project timelines and commitments.
· Holds self-accountable for best methods to assist Agency staff.
· Works with end-users providing problem solving skills, technical guidance, and training to ensure a smooth transition.
· Special projects as assigned by management.
EDUCATION AND JOB EXPERIENCE:
1. Associate’s Degree in Applied Science in a Technical Program preferred.
2. IT service desk experience preferred.
