Winthrop & Weinstine is seeking a sociable, energetic Help Desk Analyst to work in our Information Technology Department - someone who can provide technical assistance to all levels of employees. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment as part of a team with great personalities fosters an opportunity for professional growth. This is an entry level position ideal for individuals with 0 - 5 years of information technology experience. The responsibilities for this position will include, but are not limited to:
- Maintain and record end user-support tickets and other applications, as required.
- Document problems and remedial actions taken, or installation activities.
- Analyze user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate or improve existing processes.
- Read and develop technical manuals, confer with users, or conduct computer diagnostics to investigate and resolve problems or to provide technical assistance and support.
- Test programs, correct errors and make necessary modifications.
- Work as part of a project team to coordinate solutions.
- Train users and answer questions.
- Approve, schedule and plan installation and testing of new products and improvements to computer systems such as the installation of new or existing software.
- May be required to provide after-hours support.
