Tasks:
- Operates a variety of Heavy Equipment.
- Prior to operating equipment, conducts routine inspections to identify needed maintenance or repairs.
- Monitors gauges and other indicators to ensure safe operation.
- Ability to work in hot or cold temperatures and potentially heights.
- Adheres to all safety rules, guidelines, and codes.
- Ability to be on your feet moving constantly on concrete, pavement, steel, or metal.
- Valid TWIC Card or ability to obtain it.
- Performs or requests necessary repairs and adjustments to equipment.
Qualifications:
- Must pass all training set forth by CSFCO and/or TVTC that pertain to this position.
- Basic computer competency with the ability to learn client systems.
- Positive disposition, integrity, and responsibility
- Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check.
- FR Outerwear required (no exceptions)
- Thorough understanding of practices involved in the use of various types of Heavy Equipment.
- Thorough understanding of maintenance and basic repairs associated with Heavy Equipment.
- Thorough understanding of safety rules and ability to safely operate machinery.
- Superior skill operating assigned equipment safely and efficiently.
