Responsible for running day to day activities onsite, managing their crew and being in direct communication with the superintendent for needs, questions, and scope changes. Responsible for site safety and making sure the job is running efficiently.
- Operation of excavators, dozers, backhoes, and loaders.
- Working directly with the General Contractor.
- Foundation excavations.
- House / building demolition.
- Clearing / Grading.
- Installation of side sewers and mains in public right-of-way.
- Installation of on-site storm and main in public right-of-way.
- Road and sidewalk prep for restoration.
- Material take off, pipe, fittings, etc.
- Quantifying of dirt & rock to truck accordingly as needed.
- Scheduling of trucking.
- Submitting work orders daily & collecting of laborers time cards.
- Holding Site Safety meetings weekly.
- Keeping worksite clean and organized.
- Checking material orders.
- Communicating with in house Superintendent & Project Manager
- Following schedule.
- Attend site meetings, Pre-Construction meetings, Foreman meetings.
- Responsible for assisting with all roles onsite.
Qualifications
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to work well with others.
- Good time management skills.
- Ability to read and interpret plans.
- Basic knowledge of lasers.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $35.00 - $50.00 per hour
