The Data Architect will be a technology expert and use data solution building blocks to define solution concepts, estimate projects, and define architecture blueprints.
Responsibilities:
- The Data Architect engages and analyzes through the data life cycle focusing on ingestion, storage, and consumption processes through discovery, requirements, and design phases.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their functional needs, research and evaluate new products that address the requirements, and formulate COTS and custom solutions that integrate with existing platforms.
- Align solutions to the IT roadmap and enterprise standards and coordinate the architecture solution delivery through the Project Management Office (PMO), Infrastructure and Ops, and Development organizations.
Qualifications:
- 8 10 years of technical experience with application integration: data integration, organization and management
- Hands-on experience in implementing large-scale solutions, implementing large-scale Data Architecture
- 3+ years of experience in an architecture role, designing end-to-end, enterprise solutions across the complete data management lifecycle
- Experience in driving solutions that map to the global target architecture, standards, and roadmaps in distributed hardware, operating systems, and cloud computing
- Experience analyzing the current business, detecting critical deficiencies, and recommending data solutions for improvement
- Effective communication, ability to create strong solution architecture documents and presentation
- Solid data understanding with 5+ years of experience in SQL and data manipulation
- 5+ years of experience in data storage, 3+ years of experience in Azure cloud data stack, Any of data technologies such as Data Bricks, Snowflake, or Cosmos
- 5+ years of overall experience and knowledge in distributed systems, HA databases, highly available architectures, data virtualization, or data warehousing and reporting
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field
- Familiarity with one of the Master Data Management technologies such as NextGate EMPI
- Good understanding of healthcare operations provider and payer
Compensation:
Hourly W2 pay rate $85.00-$90.00
