Overview: Manager-Enterprise Project Management

The Manager of the Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO) is responsible for overseeing the planning, development, and implementation of Project Management standards, processes, and methodologies within the EPMO and Enterprise of Mercy. They will lead and coach project managers on the team to effectively deliver against the value proposition of the EPMO and strategic initiatives as assigned to the project manager. The qualified candidate will be responsible for maneuvering continual improvement roadmaps that work to level up the performance of the team and the enterprise in the context of Project Management. This candidate will additionally be responsible for estimating the long-term staffing needs; additionally skills and training needs as the organization transforms to agility.
The ideal candidate for this role should have a strong, proven, successful background in Project Management, with experience in developing and implementing Project Management standards, processes, and methodologies. They should also have a demonstrated background in leading and growing direct report staff. They should have excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, and be able to work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders. A bachelor's degree in a related field and a professional certification in Project Management, is required. A master's degree is highly preferred. Certifications in the space of Agile is highly recommended
Manages routine processes in Teams experiencing predictable technology evolution

Qualifications:
- Experience: 5 years of relevant technical or business work experience.
- Required Education: Bachelor's degree in related field, specialized training, or equivalent work experience Experience
- Other: Experience overseeing project teams and/or work processes.
- 5 years relevant health care experience in hospital, clinical or patient care environments. Relevant experience in health care technology and implementation.
Demonstrated mastery of delivering large strategic initiatives.
Demonstrated mastery of Project Management skills including cost management, risk/issue management, scope management, solution development for the initiative approach, schedule management and relevant business and PPM tools.
Additionally, demonstrated experience in leading direct reports; coaching and mentoring, communication management, conflict resolution and critical thinking.
Proven ability to lead and facilitate work independently and operate as a self-starter using appropriate resources and discernment.
Experience in Service Now as a PPM tool solution is ideal.
Experience in MS Suite of products.
Experience BI Reporting is ideal.
Preferred/Recommended -> Agile experience in health care environments. Agile certifications (e.g. Scrum Master). Masters in Health Care/Administration and/or Project Management.
