Precision Diagnostics is a national clinical diagnostics laboratory based in San Diego, California. We are currently seeking candidates for the Healthcare Operations Manager I role, a clinical team leader position for our company.

AT A GLANCE:

A Healthcare Operations Manager I drive day-to-day operations with their team. This is a supervisory leadership role focused on enabling each team member to show up with confidence and commitment to their work. The Healthcare Operations leader brings healthcare expertise to deliver patient care in a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment. A Healthcare Operations Manager maintains all regulatory, quality and safety, and operational protocols while simultaneously supporting organizational growth initiatives. This leader is internal and external facing ensuring established external partnerships are maintained and continuous process improvement efforts. Successful candidates are committed to supporting the quadruple aim of enhancing the patient experience, improving population health, reducing the cost of healthcare, and improving the life of healthcare workers.

  • All team members are compliant in performing laboratory specimen collection and shipping protocols
  • Team level Data Collection and Data Entry Accuracy pertinent to laboratory orders and testing
  • Performance appraisals

  • Communicates with team members effectively- virtual 1:1, group meetings, trainings, etc.

  • Review, fact find, report and or address any patient, provider, or employee concerns

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: (KSAs are the attributes required to perform a job; demonstrated through qualifying experience, education, or training)

Knowledge of:

  • Universal Precautions,
  • HIPAA,
  • OSHA Standards related to specimen collection
  • Principles, practices, and techniques of specimen collection
  • Federal regulations, state laws, and agency directives applicable to specimen collection
  • Healthcare operations
  • Effective organizational leadership
  • Billing and payer processes in healthcare

JOB REQUIREMENTS AND PREFERENCES:

  • Bachelor’s Degree Required or 1 + Year of experience and employment at Precision Diagnostics
  • Master’s Degree Preferred (MHA, MBA, MSN, PA)
  • Clinical Background Preferred (RN, NP, PA)
  • >2 years prior supervisory experience in healthcare
  • Proficient level computer literacy
  • Ability to travel 15%

ADDITIONAL JOB CONSIDERATIONS:

  • This position is Full-Time, Salary position
  • Annual Salary: $95,000-$105,000
  • This position works in a healthcare facility that is a partner to Precision Diagnostics
