We are seeking a Healthcare Customer Service Representative to join our team!
Responsibilities:
- Answer inbound calls and assist patients (primary)
- Accurately review insurances, demographics with patient (primary)
- Document and update customer records based on interaction (primary)
- Discuss patient responsibility, set up payment plans, take patient payment (primary)
- Answer emails (secondary)
- Return patient voicemails
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in Healthcare Customer Service
- Understanding of EOBs and determining patient responsibility
- Ability to build rapport with patients
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Positive and professional demeanor
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
