Summary of Duties:
Under the general direction of the Associate Vice President (AVP) of Interprofessional Education, the Coordinator for the Health Sciences Interprofessional Education and Assessment manages the day-to-day operations and initiatives of the office of Interprofessional Education (IPE).This includes provision of support for delivery of the IPE curriculum and the IPE faculty development program, programmatic outcomes assessment, and development and maintenance of campus and community partnerships to support IPE and collaborative practice across the Health Sciences degree programs.
Duties and Responsibilities Include but are not limited to:
Operational Support for the AVP of IPE: 50%
- In collaboration with the AVP, develop and communicate strategic priorities, performance standards, and objectives of the Washington State University Health Science (WSU HS) IPE initiatives.
- Plan and organize communication between the office of the AVP of IPE, institutional departments, and partners to assess needs and develop project plans and budgets.
- Support the AVP in the management of the IPE budget including anticipating needs and costs in equipment, supplies, travel, training, and IPE initiatives.
- Facilitate development, implementation, and maintenance of memorandums of understating and contracts with departments and external participating programs.
- Liaise and collaborate with IPE stakeholders to leverage opportunities and maximize efficiency and impact for the WSU Health Sciences Interprofessional experience. Ensures programming is aligned and complementary to support student experience.
Development, Delivery, and Assessment of the IPE Initiatives: 30%
- Working independently plan organize and direct short-term and long-term program/project planning, development, and execution of goals and objectives.
- Oversee project planning and delivery, oversee evaluation of programmatic outcomes, and provide strategic insight into future initiatives and programming to further the goals of IPE.
- Recommend and implement IPE initiatives while exercising extensive organizational, planning and leadership skills to enhance benefits for IPE stakeholders and educational offerings.
- Assist with creating evaluations and Assessments. Coordinate, distribute, and complete initial analysis of evaluations and Assessments for all interprofessional programming, including individual program evaluation and Assessment for overall learning outcomes.
Programmatic Management for Delivery of the IPE Faculty Development Program: 15%
- Develop and communicate materials to describe and promote the core faculty development curriculum.
- Develop and communicate the annual faculty development calendar and schedule of events.
- Scheduling and support for facilitators and learners at each training event.

Required Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree in a field relevant to area of specialization and three (3) years of experience directly related to the specialty area. Any combination of relevant Education and experience may be substituted for the educational requirement on a year-for-year basis.
Additional Requirements:
- Specialty Area: project management, teaching, advising, assessment, advancement, recruitment or other related field.
- Demonstrated computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office software including, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Must be skilled in using internet-based communication and conferencing platforms such as Zoom and/or Microsoft teams, audio-visual equipment, and web conferencing.
- Demonstrated organizational skills.
- Demonstrated strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work in a team and demonstrate flexibility to work with others in a variety of circumstances.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with technical writing.
- Experience teaching
- Experience with project management systems
- Master's degree in related field
- Demonstrated experience designing surveys or other methods to assess and evaluate instructional programs.

Monthly Salary: $4,061.90 - $6,092.84,commensurate with qualifications.
In accordance with RCW 49.58.110, the above salary reflects the full salary range for this position. Individual placement within the range is based on the candidate's current experience, education, skills, and abilities related to the position. Successful candidates typically begin up to mid-point of the salary range.
