Health & PE Teacher

Buxmont Academy, a Pennsylvania licensed private academic school, is seeking a part-time Health & PE teacher for their campus in Bethlehem, PA. If you are a dedicated and caring teacher who enjoys working with at-risk students, has excellent interpersonal skills, and relishes learning and new experiences, this position is for you!

Hourly rate is $23 an hour. Hours are up to 29 hours per week. School hours are Monday through Thursday, 8am to 4pm, Fridays until 3pm. There are no evening or weekend hours. Buxmont Academy has 6 campuses in southeastern PA and uses restorative practices to encourage students to grow academically and emotionally. Classes are small with a high teacher to student ratio, and our staff work together as a part of an educational team for each student.

Qualified candidates will possess a bachelor's degree or higher level of education, and either PA teaching certification or the ability to obtain certification. We welcome qualified candidates who are interested in becoming teachers. We also welcome retired teachers who miss being in the classroom!
