As the Health Information Systems Analyst for Healthcare for the Homeless (HCH), part of Catholic Medical Center (CMC), you are a skilled analyst with a passion for leveraging technology to improve healthcare services. This is a fully benefitted 4 day work week, Monday through Thursday (8:00am-4:30pm or 9:00am-5:00pm)
Location:195 McGregor Street, Manchester NH 03102 (expectation is also to be present in the clinics as well)
What You'll Do:
As a Health Information Systems Analyst at Catholic Medical Center, you'll play a vital role in optimizing our Health Information Systems to support the needs of our healthcare teams. Here's what you'll be responsible for:
- Collaborating with HCH management and staff to identify and address Health Information service requirements for both business and clinical operations.
- Evaluating and selecting the most suitable Health Information system applications in consultation with internal and external stakeholders.
- Overseeing the maintenance, upgrades, and utilization of existing HCH Health Information Systems, ensuring maximum effectiveness and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Providing training and support to HCH staff to ensure optimal utilization of Information Systems technology.
- Analyzing HCH data and generating reports to support decision-making processes and regulatory compliance, including grant submissions, billing, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Serving as a project organizer to ensure timely fulfillment of all FQHC requirements and other key initiatives, such as annual reporting and operational site visits.
- Maintaining confidentiality and integrity of patient records and other sensitive information in accordance with company policies and regulatory guidelines.
- Meet with HCH Director and HCH Business and Billing staff on a regular basis to evaluate business workflows and to develop improved processes using existing or new technology.
- Assist HCH Director and HCH Business and Billing Staff in the development of business-related policies and procedures unique to the HCH program.
- Represent HCH Program at CMC and community meetings, as directed.
What You'll Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, business, or related field required.
- One to two years of Information Systems experience, preferably in healthcare.
- Strong organizational and communication skills are a must.
- Ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. Experience with project organization and documentation is advantageous.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with diverse teams. Comfortable engaging with both internal stakeholders and external agencies.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with evolving priorities. Flexible and open to learning new technologies and methodologies.
