Form of workThe Heritage Oaks Patient Enrichment Center, more commonly known as the ‘HOPE Center,’ is a newly constructed, state of the art, 16-bed, Psychiatric Health Facility, serving the acute psychiatric needs of the community in concert with the Sacramento County Department of Health and Human Services.
We are currently looking for a per diem HIM technician. In this role you will be responsible for processing all internal and external reports needing filing in the records; retrieval of permanent records; file new records and re-file continuing records; any other duties assigned. Employee works under continual, regular supervision. Coding experience and RHIT, CCA or CCS required!!!
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must have a high school diploma or the equivalent.
- Demonstrate knowledge of the flow of medical records, terminal digit filing system, release of information and performance improvement.
- Course work in Health Information Management preferred.
- MUST HAVE CODING EXPERIENCE
- RHIT, CCA or CCS required
