Head Teacher

Jumpstart Therapy & Fitness Network in Oakville, CT is looking for one Head Teacher to join our 13 person strong team. We are located on 900 Main Street in Oakville, CT.

• Provide basic care to ensure they are reaching developmental milestones
• Communicate with parents and administration to provide updates on children's day

• Teaming with coworkers on a daily basis
• Ensure children are supervised at all times
• Previous experience working in a childcare facility with young children and their families

Qualifications

• 20 years of age or older
• high school diploma or equivalent
• at least 1080 hours of documented supervised experience of working in a childcare facility over a nine month span of time
• Associates in Early Childhood education or Associated in another field plus 12 credits in ECE

Not required but a bonus:

• Previous experience working in a childcare facility with young children and their families
• Pediatric/Adult CPR Certified
• Experience with special needs children

Available shifts and compensation: Available shifts all days except Tuesdays and Thursdays. Compensation is $16.00 - $21.00/hour.
