As the Head of Security Delivery Services, you will have a substantial impact on the security of millions of Meraki users all around the world. You will be able to motivate change across the entire stack, from the IT infrastructure, cloud platforms, and the secure software delivery framework across Meraki. You will also support other security teams in driving business-friendly Risk remediation efforts and improvements. Finally, by developing our capabilities to securely plan, build, implement and operate our security stack for the organization, you will have a direct, immediate, and positive impact on our customers and the hundreds of millions of users that use and rely on Meraki access points, switches, security appliances, and cameras every single day.

Key responsibilities for the Security Delivery Services team:
- Owner of our security architecture and engineering strategy, developing a vision for these critical areas that is aligned with our business strategy
- Establish processes to ensure architecture alignment and security services delivery in accordance with industry standards and practices
- Cultivate collaborative working relationships with our IT, Product Development and SRE teams, who are critical partners, and key to ensuring an effective Secure by Design approach is adopted
- Manage team to develop, update & maintain information security standards and reference architectures
- Lead and manage the Security Engineering and operations teams to deliver security capabilities, and sustainable security operations
- Ensure business activities, processes, and procedures meet defined requirements, policies and regulations
- Work with Internal partners to track project findings, identify and resolve risks, analyze evidence, connect with team members, and facilitate the completion of cybersecurity related projects
You are an ideal candidate if you:
- Have experience leading Security Architecture, Engineering, and Operations teams
- Have a calm methodical approach while working under pressure
- Have 10+ years of experience leading technical cyber Security Delivery programs
- Know and love learning about the latest security tools, infrastructure, and industry standard processes
- Familiarity with FedRAMP, NIST, and PCI regulations
- Are excited to champion security as a first-class concern
Bonus points for:
- Thorough knowledge of cyber security technology, for example: Intrusion Detection, EDR, Vulnerability Scanners, Intelligence Feeds, SIEM Platforms, Analytics Technologies, WAF, DDOS, UTM
- Know and recognize common vulnerability types, including SQL/command injection, XSS, CSRF, and SSRF
- Experience with IoT platforms, large-scale distributed systems, and/or client-server architectures
- Proven ability to operate in a dynamic environment

When available, the salary range posted for this position reflects the projected hiring range for new hire, full-time salaries in U.S. and/or Canada locations, not including equity or benefits. For non-sales roles the hiring ranges reflect base salary only; employees are also eligible to receive annual bonuses. Hiring ranges for sales positions include base and incentive compensation target. Individual pay is determined by the candidate's hiring location and additional factors, including but not limited to skillset, experience, and relevant education, certifications, or training. Applicants may not be eligible for the full salary range based on their U.S. or Canada hiring location. U.S. employees have access to quality medical, dental and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan with a Cisco matching contribution, short and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance and numerous wellbeing offerings. Employees receive up to twelve paid holidays per calendar year, which includes one floating holiday, plus a day off for their birthday. Employees on sales plans earn performance-based incentive pay on top of their base salary, which is split between quota and non-quota components. For quota-based incentive pay, Cisco pays at the standard rate of 1% of incentive target for each 1% revenue attainment against the quota up to 100%. Once performance exceeds 100% quota attainment, incentive rates may increase up to five times the standard rate with no cap on incentive compensation. For non-quota-based sales performance elements such as strategic sales objectives, Cisco may pay up to 125% of target. Cisco sales plans do not have a minimum threshold of performance for sales incentive compensation to be paid.
