What the day will look like
- Determine short- and long-term business strategy as it relates to the firm's global parametric product offerings
- Develop and maintain strong commercial relationships with clients and prospective clients
- Market and implement parametric products
- Contribute to the research and innovation related to developing new products and marketing solutions
- Establish a global center of excellence for parametric products
- Recruit and continue to form the team
- Strengthen the firm's brand
- Drive global connectivity and collaboration between Aon Reinsurance, Commercial Risk Aon Securities
Skills and experience that will lead to success
- Minimum 12 years related experience
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with capability to interact with major clients
- Excellent communicator (both verbally and in writing) with internal and external clients
- Entrepreneurial attitude with high level of accountability for profitability
- Excellent organization and time management skills; able to multi-task and lead projects and direct reports
- Ability to drive team(s) to deliver the highest in client service, quality, and results
- Excellent analytical skills with ability to make sound business decision
- Known problem-solver who anticipates issues and suggests creative solutions
- Ability to accept and inspire change in support of the business unit's and company's goals
- Solid understanding of MS Office suite of products with ability to learn and use multiple software and system-based application

The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $275,000-$340,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location.

This position is eligible to participate in Aon's annual incentive plans which include an annual discretionary bonus and stock plan in addition to base salary. The amount of any incentives varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
