With a team of more than 400 associates and offices in Manhattan, Chicago, Plano, and Silicon Valley, PepsiCo has been laser focused on meeting consumer needs and winning in the marketplace. Investing in eCommerce, digital capabilities and talent has been a huge part of that effort, with approximately $5 billion in retail sales projected for the upcoming year. With that, we’re seeking a Head of RetailMedia Search and DTC Marketing to own and execute marketing strategies and plans that align with the overall business goals for both our Brand and DTC/B2B businesses. Cross-functional collaboration with the Sales, Supply Chain, Strategy, and Product/Engineering teams is paramount to be successful along with being a thought-leader for PepsiCo’s retail and online grocery partners.
- Build and implement the overall strategy for PepsiCo’s Retail Media Search practice, aligning key brand and business objectives with the media capabilities at our top Customers.
- Manage overall Search budget and Customer-specific investment allocation, setting and exceeding performance marketing goals while also ensuring contractual requirements with our partners are met. Lead annual planning, forecasting, and reconciliation process in partnership with Customer Marketing and Finance leadership.
- Own all elements of our DTC revenue strategy and execution—from acquisition to conversion to CRM efforts—for key brands like Gatorade and SodaStream. Partner closely with internal brand teams as well as external media partners, ensuring brand adherence while also taking advantage of the latest media and advertising capabilities.
- Lead and inspire team of hands-on-keyboard performance marketing and media experts. Set a vision for team success and help develop and grow top PepsiCo talent.
- Partner closely with Product, Engineering, Data Science + Advanced Analytics teams to help conceive, build, and pilot new adtech and martech capabilities. With Merchandising, Site Experience, Supply Chain and Operations, ensure a best-in-class consumer shopping experience for our DTC businesses.
- Provide subject matter expertise in key internal and external forums, to inform and influence broader PepsiCo media and investment strategy, as well as our Customers’ advertising capabilities and product roadmap.
- The expected compensation range for this position is between $140,000 - $340,000 based on a full-time schedule.

- A business development incentive equity may be awarded based on eligibility and performance.

Qualifications:
- 15+ years of relevant experience with deep subject matter expertise in Search marketing, and broad experience across Paid Social, Programmatic, and Affiliates/Influencer marketing; with a track record of driving efficient growth at scaled investment levels.
- Highly analytical, motivated, decisive thought leader with a demonstrated ability to prioritize activities effectively, build strong relationships internally and externally, and to be accountable to significant marketing investments and the expected levels of returns.
- A keen eye for breakthrough creative and copy, and a firm understanding of how core creative ideas translate to platform-specific creative best practices.
- Knowledge of UX/UI, merchandising and eCommerce best practices that, when implemented, result in efficient consumer acquisition, upsell/cross-sell, and retention.
- Track record of developing marketing and media plans that balance tried-and-true approaches with new and innovative, with robust test and learning plans in place.
- Ability to understand and make decisions that benefit the broader PepsiCo business, beyond eCommerce.
- An entrepreneurial mindset and demonstrated examples of showing bias for action, being results-oriented, and consumer and community obsessed.
- A people-first leader equally comfortable setting a vision and strategy for performance marketing at PepsiCo eCommerce as well as rolling up sleeves and helping the team get the job done.
- A passion for the food and beverage space and the PepsiCo brands we get to steward.
- Bachelors degree required, Masters in a relevant business subject area preferred.
