The Team
The Darwin Homes team is composed of a diverse set of alumni from DoorDash, Square, Facebook, Apple, LinkedIn and other top technology companies. The founders and executive team have over 30+ years of combined experience in scaling disruptive technology and operations-focused businesses. 

Darwin Homes was backed by top Silicon Valley venture capital (Khosla, Fifth Wall) and was acquired by Pagaya Technologies, a publicly traded company, in early 2023.  Pagaya is an AI/ML data technology company with offices in Tel Aviv, New York, and Austin.

The Role
Darwin Homes is growing fast and we're looking for a highly motivated, intelligent, and passionate Head of Recruiting to join our team. We're growing fast, and growth means the challenges we'll work on together will change as we lead Darwin through new and different phases.

As the Head of Recruiting, you will oversee full-cycle recruiting, lead any assigned personnel, and deliver high-quality talent to our business units. You will provide strategic and operational direction for the design/delivery of all talent acquisition programs, bringing recruiting and sourcing strategies that attract the very best talent for our organization. In partnership with the Executive Leadership team, you will be responsible for optimizing our talent acquisition structure and processes, growing the capabilities of your team, and building a unique employment brand and an engaging candidate experience.
What You'll Do
    • Serve as the face of Darwin in the talent marketplace
    • Manage the full lifecycle recruiting of real estate and technical professionals
    • Build & maintain a pipeline of high-quality candidates via various sourcing methods
    • Coordinate interview processes; mediate any client or candidate concerns during
    • Monitor and report on recruiting effectiveness via key performance indicators
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with leaders across the company to gain an understanding of hiring needs and desired skills, competencies, and experience
    • Ensure adherence to recruiting/staffing laws, regulations, and procedures
    • Drive operational excellence by evaluating, rethinking, and redesigning processes for candidate experience, interview management, competency alignment, process improvement, and simplification/automation
    • Establish team performance goals and metrics, timelines, and a formal tracking process to measure and manage progress
What You'll Have
    • Bachelor's Degree; Master's Degree preferred
    • 10+ years of Recruiting experience, preferably within a technical industry
    • Team leadership and people management experience
    • Industry knowledge and an ability to discuss relevant roles and skills
    • High sense of urgency, organization, and attention to detail
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
    • Experience with relationship management and the development of relationships with executives, key stakeholders, hiring managers, and candidates
    • Experience leading in a heavy change environment; capable of pivoting with agility
    • Proficient with applicant tracking tools and Microsoft and Google suites
$150,000 - $175,000 a year
