Qualifications
What you'll bring
• Seasoned product management leader with 15+ years' experience building and leading high-performing product teams, ideally within payments industry.
• Track record of teaching and coaching teams to raise the maturity level in the product management craft.
• Experienced as a senior leader of highly skilled leaders with distributed teams sustaining high levels of employee engagement.
• Deep domain expertise and industry experience delivering digital banking and payments offerings; has an intimate understanding of our customers, industry, and competitors.
• Customer first mindset; extensive experience bringing to market customer facing product offerings; thinks and leads end to end.
• Extensive experience managing vendor/partners to deliver against service level agreement target measurements.
• Deep understanding of data capabilities, including how to use data to dramatically improve a customer experience.
• Experience taking product innovation from 0 to 1 and scaling offerings that have achieved product market fit.
• Experience working well through ambiguity, having confidence to make tough calls and lead through adversity with focus on the eventual right outcomes.
• Track record of delivering measurable, industry-leading growth, across both short- and long-term results
• Entrepreneurial; innovative; willing and able to challenge the status quo; a seasoned risk taker who makes data driven decisions.
• Expert executive leadership and presence - excellent communication skills, collaborative, humble, navigates sensitive objections, receives feedback openly, understands facilitative leadership and change management.
• Undergraduate degree in computer science, electrical engineering, math, science or a related technical discipline required; advanced degree strongly preferred. Equivalent professional experience will be considered.
How you will lead
• Develop and evangelize the vision and strategy to grow MoneyGram Online products and solutions; set appropriate OKRs to measure organizational success.
• Be the product expert and strategist who anticipates market trends, translates customer needs, competitive intelligence and MoneyGram intellectual property into new deliverables.
• Contribute to material growth of the business by identifying the biggest untapped opportunities; in partnership with business teams quantify TAM and set realistic goals.
• Develop 1 year and 3-year roadmap leveraging business cases for planning and prioritization in alignment with business objectives.
• Deliver against 1 year and 3-year growth objectives by building and mentoring a team of high performing product managers and foster an environment of innovation and collaboration.
• Implement metrics to help continually optimize and improve product adoption.
• Be the voice of the customer and foster an environment where we deeply understand our customers' problems and challenges; obsess about making our products intuitive and our customers efficient and productive.
• Develop breakthrough innovations based on the unique assets MoneyGram provides and identify game changing partnerships to accelerate realization of those opportunities.
• Connect and collaborate with business leaders, product, UX, marketing, engineering teams, and strategic partners to drive decision making and execution.
• Lead cross functional alignment across risk, compliance, legal, partnerships and finance.
• Drive initiatives that improve the maturity and effectiveness of the entire MoneyGram product organization
