Join an industry-leading retail client as their newest Director of Internal Communications & Operations for a full-time opportunity local to the Dallas, TX market area. Partial relocation assistance will be provided for those who live outside of the Dallas, TX market area. This opportunity is ON-SITE 95% of the time.
The ideal Director of Internal Communications & Operations candidate will have extensive experience leading multiple internal communications programs with an international retailer. Additionally, the Director of Internal Communications & Operations will have superb communications skills and be able to effectively develop communication plans, launch new channels, and develop internal content.
DIRECTOR OF INTERNAL COMMUNICATIONS & OPERATIONS RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Create and implement impactful communication strategies from company culture to marketing programming support to product launches and beyond.
- Develop and optimize long-term strategy for internal and operations communications functions.
- Partner with leaders to provide essential communications support to C-level executives and develop customer-facing strategies to ensure timely communication launches.
- Spearhead top-notch communications to internal departments and channel management.
- Collaborate with various divisions to strengthen key initiatives and create tailored messages with impactful content to reach targeted audience segments.
- Conceive engaging storytelling campaigns that inspire and persuade internal audiences.
- Guide with a data-driven and result-oriented mindset to ensure all internal communication efforts are maximized.
DIRECTOR OF INTERNAL COMMUNICATIONS & OPERATIONS REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelors Degree in public relations, communications, journalism, or a relevant field required
- 15+ years of corporate communications experience
- 5+ years of management experience with proven ability to manage a team, contractors, and external agencies
- Previous QSR, Retail, Marketing Agency, or Franchisee experience a plus
- Sound understanding of the latest emerging communication trends, channel management, and effective planning in a corporate environment
