Job Description
We are seeking a Head of Growth, Business Development and Sales, who will be responsible for setting company sales targets and marketing goals. This individual's job duties include developing strategic sales goals, consulting with management on the overall monetary health of the agency, obtaining new client contracts, and overseeing the marketing and Sales functions.
Partnering with sector leads and internal teams, the Head of Growth will be charged with leading all new business pursuits and should have a proven track record of engaging marketing and Sales teams to grow agency revenue.
Responsibilities
  • Leads development of sales strategies to obtain new accounts, while simultaneously prioritizing revenue growth for existing accounts
  • Accountable for win/loss ratio and healthy Business Development financials; manages opportunity pipeline and reports on sales activity and Sales goals
  • Creates a culture of learning by imparting sales best practices to the agency's sales team
  • Oversees the marketing team to identify new opportunities. Drives holistic marketing strategies that raise awareness of the agency's key executives, work, capabilities, etc.
  • Cultivates business relationships through networking, industry events and outbound marketing
  • Forecasts and assesses resources available to determine the scope and duration of new business opportunities
  • Accountable for overall client satisfaction, renewal rate and YOY revenue growth
Qualifications
  • Strategic thinker, successful track record (at least 12-15+ years) of building business for an agency, ideally for small and large agencies within the DTC/performance media space.
  • Proven results in a quota carrying sales role in the Advertising, Digital Marketing or AdTech industry. Experience creating operational structure around sales and marketing functions
  • Understands how to forecast ("run a mini-business") and work cross-functionally to determine pipeline and a data-driven sales strategy (not just a 'gut feeling')
  • Experience selling in to mid-tier and enterprise clients. Ability to adapt sales strategy to the agency's evolving service offerings
  • Proven experience in building and leading a cross-functional team in the pitch/BD process
  • Ability to coach and mentor junior Business Development and account management team members
  • Experience overseeing Business Development initiatives from initial opportunity all the way through securing client contracts
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment
  • Advanced knowledge of full-service, integrated advertising solution offerings, including strategy, creative, media, and digital
  • Knowledge of CRM software packages and Sales tools

Salary is based on a wide range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other job- related qualifications, and geography.
