Job description

The Kuiper Marketing team is looking for an experienced Global Head ofMarketing Operations who wants the thrill of influencing customers and business decision-makers through creating marketing operational efficiency. Reporting directly to the Head of Global Marketing this leader will serve as a key-member of the Kuiper Global Marketing leadership team, by helping to build innovation and capabilities to ensure organizational scaling. This incumbent will work closely with other business operations leaders and team members to provide requirements for a modern marketing technology (Martech) stack, including data integration tools, analytics, and operations engines. This role will evaluate new technologies and add-on applications to optimize the Global Marketing team's performance and connect the Martech stack across regions, functions, and tools. This leader will collaborate to ensure that every marketing touch point is driving demand, and our marketing budgets are tracking against KPIs.
Digital Marketing
In this role, you'll work with the Head of Digital Marketing, on your team, to develop and manage systems to take a user all the way from their first web session to becoming a customer for life. You'll be responsible for supporting lead generation and integrated sales & marketing campaigns. You'll play a critical role in shaping and primarily implementing our marketing strategy, planning, and execution by working across Amazon and media buying agencies. Working cross-functionally with marketing, BD & sales and technology teams, you'll drive the delivery of seamless experiences for traffic and leads throughout the customer journey.
Event Marketing
Included in the streamlining of the Marketing Operations and digital marketing, this leader's scope of work will also include the Kuiper events/conferences/activation activities. You'll work with the Head of Events, Conferences and Activations and other marketing leaders to delivery consumer and enterprise customer events/conferences/activation activities, management of the Kuiper Executive Briefing Center, and public facing events.
Export Control Requirement

Key job responsibilities
Serve as trusted partner to the Head of Global Marketing and the Kuiper Marketing Team to ensure that the team is operating efficiently and executing with agility in support of aligned goals and strategies.
Articulate, set, and execute a global digital vision that aligns with broader marketing goals to enhance B2C and B2B customer journeys by delivering differentiated experiences across crucial digital touchpoints.
Administer the governance of marketing tools such as Salesforce Pardot, digital event/webinar tools, and tracking URL taxonomy.
Together with IT, and the Head of Marketing Intelligence and Analytics, ensure marketing data from the data lake/warehouse are timely and accurate.
Partner with the team on the marketing automation roadmap, utilizing data-driven approaches to optimize campaign performance, conversion rates, and customer engagement across channels.
Be a subject matter thought leader & drive the vision for Martech software stacks for all parts of the marketing organization.
Architect the solution to advise, enable and optimize Kuiper's marketing globally across paid, earned and owned experiences.
Work with global, cross-functional Amazon marketing teams (internal and external to Kuiper) to uncover opportunities to contribute with marketing data and technology.
Manage global vendor partnerships including vetting, onboarding, life cycle, and retirement of contracts.
Establish an always-on, continuous feedback loop with the global tech and user experience teams to ensure alignment from project definition through execution.
Experience in the areas of digital marketing, content strategy content planning processes, and events and conference planning.
Experience in using project management software to plan, monitor and communicate project progress.

Redmond, WA, USA
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 12 or more years of work experience with a bachelor's degree or at least 10 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters/MBA /JD/MD), or a minimum of 5 years of work experience with a PhD
- 10+ years of progressive responsibility in launching and/or managing digital or acquisition channels (ie. Paid Search, Paid Display, Paid Social) with a focus on optimization and improving efficiency and using technology and data to drive marketing results
- 5+ years Global digital marketing experience.
- 5+ years' Experience in a leadership role Experience in digital marketing
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- A Masters of Business Administration (MBA) degree preferred
- Ability to conceptualize, scope, and execute projects to strict deadlines
- Confident, self-motivated individual with strong, demonstrable bias for action
- Experience driving new business segment or services launches
- Both business and technically savvy enough to interface with all levels and disciplines
- Ability to thrive under ambiguous and shifting priorities in a high-growth environment.
- Strong organization skills and attention to detail.
- Success in managing complex and multi-faceted marketing programs with the ability to drive projects through to completion.
- Proven track record of using quantitative and analytical skills to generate insights to inform strategy and measure performance of marketing programs.
- Ability to learn new software and technology tools quickly.
- Deep knowledge of the Marketing Technology space, including the key partners and crucial trends
- Validated ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams using effective interpersonal skills
- Excellent time management and organization skills
- Event Planning experience
- Experience on agency side deploying digital advertising and working with Marketing Technology
- Experience in a global role at a large enterprise
- Ambitious drive and a motivation to achieve rapid results.
- Product or tech experience in the marketing space, with an understanding of the Marketing function within Amazon
- Excellent cross-group collaboration skills, ability to impact outcomes in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously.
- Deep analytical abilities, especially with respect to experimental design and analysis.

- Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to influence teams and individuals; Ability to lead multi-stakeholder groups and effectively utilize resources and relationships to drive results
- Outstanding Communication: can partner, influence and thrive in a global matrixed organization with an ability to present to stakeholders with gravitas and confidence
- Excellent writing skills with experience in writing brand strategy documents
- Proven track record of effectively developing and implementing marketing strategies that drive customer demand.
- Excellent cross-group collaboration skills, ability to impact outcomes in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $113,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $211,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
