Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure proper functionality and identify any potential issues
- Perform repairs, maintenance, and troubleshooting on various types of machinery, including grinding equipment, hydraulics, electrical systems, small engines, and diesel engines
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime and increase equipment reliability
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, including repair logs and Equipment Maintenance schedules
- Stay up to date with industry advancements and technologies related to Equipment Maintenance
- Order and inventory parts to ensure availability for repairs and maintenance
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with team members and vendors to ensure timely repairs and minimal equipment downtime
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational or technical training in Equipment Maintenance preferred
- Proven experience as a mechanic specializing in Equipment Maintenance, with a strong understanding of various types of machinery and systems
- In-depth knowledge of grinding equipment, hydraulics, electrical systems, small engines, and diesel engines
- Proficient in diagnosing and troubleshooting equipment issues
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and team motivation skills
- Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment
