K2 Brewing is searching for a creative and motivated Head Chef/Kitchen Manager to join our talented
Culinary Team. The selected candidate will oversee all kitchen operations (food only) at both our Empire
Blvd. location as well as our newly acquired facility in Walworth, including upholding our standards for
excellence in food quality and timely preparation. Our ideal candidate is an experienced, innovative
professional who is proud of his menu design and motivates his staff while being able to meet budgeted
costs in operations.
Your duties will include staffing of all kitchen employees, scheduling, and ordering as well as responding
to customer issues. The candidate will have excellent communication skills with in-depth knowledge of
all cooking methods, recipes, equipment, and processes.

Responsibilities:
· Develop menus that will adjust to seasonal changes, holidays, and customer demand.
· Maintaining a catering menu.
· Ensure that kitchen activities operate in a timely manner and that ticket times are within company standards.
· Address customer questions and concerns personally.
· Develop and maintain positive relationships with our various food vendors and ascertain that K2
is obtaining the best possible pricing for our volume of purchasing, combining both locations.
· Monthly Inventory taking and providing information to accounting.
· Provide support to other kitchen employees with various tasks including line cooking, food
· preparation, and dish plating.
· Recruit, hire, orientate and train new kitchen employees according to K2 kitchen standards.
· Produce an accurate weekly kitchen schedule at least 3 days prior to its start, considering
· approved time off.
· Implement and adhere to sanitation and safety regulations.
Requirements:
· A minimum of 4 years’ kitchen management experience.
· Strong knowledge of cooking methods, kitchen equipment, and best practices.
· Teamwork-oriented with outstanding leadership abilities.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Must have a Serv Safe Food Manager Certificate Head Chef
