This position is targeting a recent college graduate for a May/June 2024 start date.

We are a mission partner supporting DoD, Intelligence, and Civil space customers. We develop complex radiation effects mitigated designs that balance competing requirements in modern space programs, delivering cutting-edge solutions that enable our customers to achieve more in space.

Essential Functions:

Assist in the design, implementation and test of mixed-signal Printed Circuit Board (PCB) and Printed Circuit Assembly (PCA), utilizing High Density Interconnect (HDI) and high-speed (> 1 GHz) components/circuits

Schematic capture

PCB layout and routing

PCA integration, test, and debug

Support and enhance existing embedded hardware primarily at the Printed Circuit Board (PCB)/Printed Circuit Assembly (PCA) level

Supports interfacing disciplines such as mechanical, RF, software, firmware, and project management


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Understanding of the hardware development process, including requirements specification, characterization, simulation, high-speed digital design, signal processing, electrical hardware schematic capture, layout, routing, testing, and interfacing

Experience with hardware integration, test and debug tools (logic analyzers, scopes, emulators)

Experience with basic lab test and measurement techniques such as calibration, testing to requirements following test methods.

Proven communication / interpersonal skills and ability to be a strong team player

Ability to be granted a security clearance.

US citizenship required.

Altium Designer, Excel, Word, Pspice, Python, Xilinx Vivado, VHDL, C, C++, MATLAB

Oscilloscope, Digital Multimeter, Power Supply, Vector Network Analyzer, Spectrum Analyzer, Signal Generator

Understanding of Hardware Engineering processes and standards, and product configuration management system
