Job Description
We are looking for experienced, motivated full-time Hardware Engineers to join us in creating industry-leading Cloud Networking Ethernet switches at our Nashua, NH office location.
Responsibilities: Candidates for this position would be responsible for the entire hardware design process:
- Authoring Functional Specifications
- Schematic Capture of high complexity PCB's
- Working closely with PCB Layout (CAD) and overseeing PCB fabrication
- Selecting and Qualifying vendor Components
- Working closely with NPIE team and Contract Manufacturer (CM) during all builds from prototype through production
- Board and system bring up, debug, and supporting diagnostic, DVT, and SW teams
- Product Sustaining and Maintenance
Qualifications
- BS/MSEE and 5-15 years of relevant experience
- Experience with PCIe, DDRx, I2C, SPI, SATA/NVME, USB, Ethernet, FPGA/CPLD design and simulation, and VRM/PDN design is required
- Embedded x86/ARM or other CPU control plane design is highly desirable
- Some experience with Networking Hardware, particularly Ethernet switching
- Writing functional specifications and reviewing with peers for system designs
- Working closely with diagnostic software engineers for bringup and debug
- Familiarity with signal integrity and power integrity concepts such as impedance, differential routing, insertion loss, board stackups
- Experience with DFM, ICT, compliance certification
- Working with Contract Manufacturers
- Successfully taking products from concept to production
