Hand and Stone Bala Cynwyd has an opening for someone with an infectious personality, a great work ethic and exudes self-confidence!! Our Spa Sales Associate (SA) is the first person our clients meet before their service(s) and the last person they see after their service(s). SA’s play a vital role in customer relations. The SA is responsible for increasing membership sales, scheduling appointments and upgrading services by engaging and connecting with clients to ensure a positive spa experience. The Spa Sales Associate will also have the responsibility of opening and closing the Spa in the absence of the Manager.

Spa Sales Associate Responsibilities:

• Drives membership sales and retention by suggesting positive benefits of our Lifestyle Program
• Detailed knowledge of the menu of services
• Effectively communicate sales, promotions, and services options with clients
• Execute the daily operational tasks, day to day goals and priorities assigned by management
• Uphold store cleanliness standards
• Scheduling appointments and balancing the daily schedule
• Communicating the continually changing schedule and operational needs with teammates
• Able to lift up to 25 lbs.
• Demonstrates values and behaviors consistent with our culture
• Maintains proper grooming at all times
• Must be punctual

Spa Sales Associate Qualifications:

• Sales and/or customer service experience highly preferred
• Capable of working flexible hours (evenings and weekends are required)
• Special consideration given to candidates with prior retail or membership sales experience (Gym, Tanning, or Salon) or prior Spa experience
• Experience with Millennium software a plus
• Critical thinking skills, including conflict resolution
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• A fast learner, with a positive attitude, and remain calm in fast pace environment
• Computer proficient (a knowledge of retail/appointment booking computer systems, a plus.)
• A strong team player with ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Exceptional organizational and prioritizing ability, high attention to detail, and ability to multitask
