SCOPE OF POSITION:
The GSR is responsible for the efficient operation of all slot machines and operating procedures as well as the serving of alcoholic beverages for Comanche Nation Entertainment. The GSR's performance is necessary for the casino to reach its full potential in providing a superior entertainment experience for its guests.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The following are major duties and are not intended to be all inclusive or restrictive.
- Provides directions, assistance, and/or information to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Troubleshoots, repairs and performs maintenance on slot machines.
- Stocks slot machine with ticket printer paper.
- Participates in slot machine moves.
- Makes change and pays out jackpots.
- Accurately fills out required documentation and/or logs.
- Fosters and maintains a positive attitude towards the staff, management, and guests.
- Attends and satisfactorily completes all training as assigned by the GSR Supervisor.
- Answers beverage questions posed by guests.
- Maintains knowledge of beverage menu and any special items being offered.
- Observes guests and anticipates beverage needs and completes all steps of service as assigned.
- Provides quick, attentive, friendly and professional service to casino guests while communicating in a clear and concise manner.
- Accurately records all sales in the POS.
- Ensures cleanliness of the beverage area.
- Complies with all alcohol awareness and service policies and procedures with regards to alcohol service.
- Ensures and collects appropriate payment for beverage service.
- Accurately balances all money transactions, paperwork, and assigned bank.
- Responsible for facilitating promotional entry, participation and drawing activities
- Monitors and works with all aspects of the BOH systems including but not limited to: issuance of any bonus features/awards, reviewing accuracy for input, play/account evaluation, etc.
- Must be able to accurately input guest information into the system.
- Accurately balances all money transactions, paperwork, and assigned bank.
- Assures compliance with federal currency transactions reporting requirements.
- Fosters and maintains a positive attitudes towards the staff, management, and guests.
- Attends and satisfactorily completes all training assigned.
- Performs other duties as assigned
PHYSICAL & ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:
The Guest Service Representative/Cashier regularly communicates and exchanges information with coworkers and guests. The Guest Service Representative/Cashier is required to remain stationary as well as move about the casino floor more than 50 percent of their shift. The Guest Service Representative/Cashier must be able to position one's self to inspect, troubleshoot, fix, and maintain gaming machines. The Guest Service Representative/Cashier occasionally moves gaming machines and equipment weighing up to 50 lbs. or more. Work is performed throughout all areas of the facility where the noise level varies from quiet to loud depending upon business. The Guest Service Representative/Cashier must be able and willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays and in a smoke-filled environment. The workplace is also under constant surveillance both inside and outside the facility.
The Guest Service Representative/Cashier may be exposed to the risks associated in attempting to resolve contentious issues with difficult guests and staff members.
