Haymarket Media, Inc. is seeking a Sales Director to join the Business Media team. This position is located in our New York office.
Job Overview:
Haymarket Media seeks a strategic Sales Director to oversee a high performing sales team working across three of our most prestigious B2B brands. Qualified candidates will have experience in integrated sales and sales management across digital, both sponsorship of live and virtual events and custom events and lead generation
Responsibilities:
- Management of a high performing team of sales professionals
- Responsibility for $10M+ in revenue across 3 brands in the marketing, advertising and pharma space. (Familiarity with these industries preferred)
- Drive pipeline and new business development
- Lead with positivity coupled with maintaining discipline and professionalism
- High degree of emotional intelligence
Skills and Requirements:
Qualifications include:
- BA/BS
- Min 5 years in a sales management role
- Experience with event sponsorship, custom events and products required
- Experience with Salesforce
- Ability to motivate and manage a highly diverse sales team
- Comfortable working across brands and industries
- Ability to attend formal and evening events
- 20% travel required

- The salary range for this position is $165,000–$175,000, plus commission. Compensation will be commensurate with experience, skill level, functional and/or industry knowledge, education level, certifications, as well as other qualifications.
