Haymarket Media, Inc. is seeking a Sales Director to join the Business Media team. This position is located in our New York office.
Job Overview:
Responsibilities:
- Management of a high performing team of sales professionals
- Responsibility for $10M+ in revenue across 3 brands in the marketing, advertising and pharma space. (Familiarity with these industries preferred)
- Drive pipeline and new business development
- Lead with positivity coupled with maintaining discipline and professionalism
- High degree of emotional intelligence
Skills and Requirements:
- BA/BS
- Min 5 years in a sales management role
- Experience with event sponsorship, custom events and products required
- Experience with Salesforce
- Ability to motivate and manage a highly diverse sales team
- Comfortable working across brands and industries
- Ability to attend formal and evening events
- 20% travel required

- The salary range for this position is $165,000–$175,000, plus commission. Compensation will be commensurate with experience, skill level, functional and/or industry knowledge, education level, certifications, as well as other qualifications.
