Group Sales Clerk

This position is responsible for high guest contact in a customer service oriented telephone sales role. The representative will provide accurate information regarding the Hersheypark Group Sales programs along with general information for the destination.
Hersheypark amusement park spans 121-acres, and welcomes guests to experience Hersheypark Happy all year long! As the largest amusement park in Pennsylvania, Hersheypark is home to more than 70 rides including 15 coasters and 20+ kiddie rides, as well as a zoo, and an entire water park.
Job Duties (Duties marked with an asterisk are essential functions of this job):

• Answer inbound calls
• Conduct outbound sales calls
• Provide accurate information regarding Hersheypark Group Sales programs as well as Destination Hershey
• Build rapport with clients and offer recommendations
• Facilitate inbound sales leads for nonprofit and corporate groups
• Process Hersheypark Group Sales Orders
• Complete general office duties (ie: filing, mailings, email, etc.)
• Work with internal partners to ensure successful delivery of product
• Provide assistance to our finance team
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older
• Must have a minimum of one (1) year experience with customer service

• Experience in Hospitality and suggestive selling preferred
• Must be friendly, upbeat, and work well with other employees and be able to interact with guests
• Must have strong customer service skills
• Must be comfortable working on a computer, specifically Microsoft Office Products
• Must be able to speak, write, and understand English
• Must display a positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and professional image in compliance with the Hershey Entertainment & Resorts guidelines
• Must have the ability to safeguard confidential information

• Must be able to sit for the majority of the work schedule and answer phones
• Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs. independently
