Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Group Fitness Manager to spearhead our fitness program at CASCADA Wellness Club. This individual will be responsible for curating a diverse range of Group Fitness classes, with a strong emphasis on yoga, to cater to our clientele's needs. The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for trendsetting fitness routines and have a deep understanding of the Portland wellness scene.

Requirements:

Key Responsibilities:

· Develop and implement a comprehensive Group Fitness program that aligns with CASCADA's vision of holistic wellness, with a particular focus on yoga-based classes.

· Craft a class schedule that optimizes class attendance and accommodates the preferences of our diverse membership base.

· Recruit, train, and manage a team of passionate Group Fitness instructors who embody the spirit of CASCADA's brand.

· Collaborate with the marketing team to promote fitness classes and special events, leveraging various channels to attract new members and retain existing ones.

· Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices, continually refining the fitness program to ensure it remains cutting-edge and relevant.

· Foster a supportive and inclusive atmosphere within the fitness community, fostering connections and relationships among members and staff.

· Monitor class participation and gather feedback to assess program effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.

· Maintain a safe and clean fitness studio environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or a related field preferred. In place of a bachelor's degree, relevant work experience will be considered.

· Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within the fitness industry, with a proven track record of program development and management.

· Certification in Group Fitness instruction (e.g., ACE, NASM, Yoga Alliance) required.

· Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team of instructors.

· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a passion for building relationships and fostering community.

· Knowledge of the Portland wellness landscape and a finger on the pulse of emerging fitness trends.

· Creative thinker with the ability to think outside the box and innovate within the constraints of a wellness club environment.

· A genuine passion for holistic wellness and a commitment to helping others achieve their fitness goals.

· Must embody the authentic Portland vibe and ethos, reflecting the unique culture and values of the city.
