The Graphic Designer is a role for a visual communicator who can work across all media formats, screens, types and technologies. As Graphic Designer, you will use your knowledge of composition and design to create and format newspaper and digital ads, retail point-of-sale, and marketing materials.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Collaborating with marketing director, creative director, art director, senior designer, and other professionals
- Laying out copy, and selecting colors, fonts, photographs, and other design elements to communicate creative concepts
- Editing photos
- Formatting existing artwork
- Collecting, processing and organizing files
- Maintaining digital assets
- Ensuring print quality standards are met
- Exposure to all digital web and social media platforms
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design
- Portfolio showcasing a broad range of outputs
- Strong graphic design and layout skills
- Solid knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, design trends and typography
- Comprehensive photo-retouching skills
- Great multi-tasking skills and ability to work under pressure and to shift priorities to meet deadlines
- Time management skills
- Attention to detail
