JOB SUMMARY
The Graphic Design Intern will apply art, design, and copy layout skills to create visually engaging concepts such as logos, promotional and branding materials, communication media, and other print and digital materials. This role will assist with photo editing and image creation, managing files, and performing a variety of clerical duties.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Collaborate with the marketing and creative teams to create visually appealing graphics, illustrations, and layouts for various projects including social media posts, marketing materials, presentations, and website content.
• Assist in conceptualizing and designing print and digital marketing materials, ensuring they align with the company's brand guidelines and target audience.
• Create eye-catching and innovative designs for online and offline campaigns, helping to enhance our brand presence and engage our audience effectively.
• Support the team in photo editing, retouching, and optimizing images for different platforms and applications.
• Stay updated on industry trends, design techniques, and software tools to continuously improve your skills and bring fresh ideas to the team.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas to marketing campaigns and initiatives.
• Work collaboratively with other team members, taking feedback and integrating it into your designs to produce high-quality and impactful visuals.
• Assist in other design-related tasks and projects as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE/JOB KNOWLEDGE

• Pursuing a degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.
• Strong creativity and artistic skills, with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Basic understanding of design principles, typography, and color theory.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Eagerness to learn and grow as a designer, with a proactive attitude toward taking on new challenges.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
• Regularly moves and positions objects weighing up to 50 pounds
• Occasionally exposed to viruses and infectious conditions
• Constantly alert and observant during working hours

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Ability to work independently on an assignment.
• Ability to work collaboratively as a member of a team.
• Aptitude to learn other software programs as required for this position.
