Description
By hand and using computer software, prepares technical and non-technical visual presentations through designing art and copy layouts for publication. At STIIIZY, we value the versatility and adaptability of our employees. While the primary focus of this role is Graphic Designer/Artist II, the successful candidate may also be able to cross-train in other positions within the department based on organizational needs.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Coordinates with creative personnel, marketing, and other graphic professionals to gather information and materials needed for design.
  • Illustrates established design concepts by designing rough layout of art and copy regarding arrangement, size, type size and style, and related aesthetic concepts.
  • Prepares finished copy and art by operating typesetting, printing, and similar equipment.
  • Assists with the coordination of photography, artwork, and printing. Has knowledge of and utilizes applications such as Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Adobe Creative Suite, and HTML.
  • Performs work under direct supervision.
  • Handles basic issues and problems and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff.
  • Possesses solid working knowledge of subject matter.
  • May provide leadership, coaching, and/or mentoring to a subordinate group.

  • Perform other duties as needed in support of business objectives assigned by supervisor.?

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 0-2 years of experience.

REQUIREMENTS
  • Must be over 21 years of age.
  • Available for on-site operations work Monday-Friday.
  • Work revolves around objectives, projects, and priorities- not hours; must be able to work weekends and holidays as needed.
  • Willingness and ability to undergo cross-training in various roles within the department as required.

  • Prolonged periods of standing, sitting at a desk, and/or working on a computer.
  • Able to stand up to 4 hours at a time.
  • Ability to work in multi-temperature environments, hot or cool.
  • Be able to stand, bend, kneel, squat, and twist for prolonged periods of time.
  • Must be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift 15 lbs. to a minimum height of 5 feet and able to push, pull, move, and/or carry such weight a minimum distance of 50 feet, with or without mechanical assistance.
  • Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization's facilities.
