JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Penn State Lehigh Valley has an ongoing need for highly qualified, part-time faculty to teach a variety of courses in the Corporate Communication department. Ideal candidates should be open to offering flexibility in course scheduling and methods of course delivery. Special consideration will be given to candidates who can teach Graphic Design/research course(s).
Requirements:
A master's degree in a relevant area of study is required and significant marketplace experience is highly preferred. The course is an introductory course with no prerequisites. Extensive knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite are required to teach the course. Knowledge of other digital production tools, such as Canva, CorelDRAW, and others, is a plus.
Job Duties:

• The course will focus on the introduction of basic design principles, critical analysis of visual material, and solving problems utilizing digital production tools. Course examples and assignments must align with strategic communication practices, deliverables, and executions.
• The examples will reflect organizational and communication objectives supporting brand identity, image and reputation, digital and visual storytelling, and other graphics and imagery.
• Course content will teach students to build relationships, communicate with internal and external stakeholders, tell organizational brand stories, and build, protect and maintain organizational reputation.
