Virginians opportunities for self-sufficiency and improved living conditions.

The Roles & Responsibilities
Grant Coordination

Coordinates program implementation/training of program staff.
Monitors data pertaining to reports, grant deliverables, and budgets.
Responsible for monthly, quarterly, and close-out reporting for all programs by required deadlines by coordinating program reporting via staff and funders.
Maintain federal, state and program databases.
Develop standard reporting and performance templates.
Manage relationships with key partners and stakeholders.
Monitor and report on progress of active grants.
Assists Director with day-to-day operations of programs, including ordering supplies, printing materials.

Grant Writing
Provides oversight to all grant programs, applications/proposals.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of funding opportunities and deadlines.
Prepares and submits proposals.
Write, edit, and proofread grant proposals and supporting materials.

Outreach Coordination
Assist with coordinating/marketing of programs and company events.
Research, develop, and order outreach materials, including fliers, posters, and swag.
Communicate effectively with funders via email, phone, meetings and other means.

The Requirements
A Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, non-profit administration or another related discipline required. Prefer two years of nonprofit work experience, should directly relate serving economically and socially disadvantaged individuals.
